The other night on Nightline the central focus of the show was about child and slave labor across the world. With clips from Stolen Childhoods by Len Morris and Robin Romano, a documentary on child labor, it was an illuminating look at how we, as Americans, are the global power with vast consumerism issues that have yet to be resolved.



Take a look, you might be amazed.

I remember being so shocked by the child/slave labor trafficking information the first time I heard about it...especially all the prostitution rings run in various countries, even the US! Everybody and their uncle did speeches on this my freshman and sophomore year...it's sad how it's still going on, but in certain circles it's considered passe'...

It's so sad that people are willing to exploit each other in this fashion.
