First and foremost, I must convey my many thanks to Nancy for helping me find jobs on-campus as I was unable to find any during my searches. At least, when I searched, I found jobs that I couldn't apply for because there were numerous dates that I needed to attend for orientation and I wouldn't be back in Idaho in time or they required work-study which I do not have. Thanks a billion, Nancy! You rock! :D

I recently applied to two three jobs online via our school's job finder. All of them have potential to be my next job, fitting very nicely into my schedule. Although the wage for both isn't amazing, it's good enough money to help me out throughout the year. So, hopefully I'll get one of them.

Recently, Veneliza and I decided to come together and "explore, restore, and enhance" our fleeting Japanese skills by creating Paper Note. For those of you that knew, this will take the place of my old project-blog "Japanese Lessons" as Veneliza and I will both tackle it together. (Kind of reminds me of our summer job two years back as webmasters where we schooled our boss in the l337 skillz of true <HTML> coding and webpage and graphic design. Ah the good ol' days! Fun times, really!) This way both of us benefit and we can potentially help others! Yay for being free-for-service "blog-whores" who know some Japanese! Now we can teach. Sort of.

Yeah! Sorry! We have links on there to point you in the direction of getting Japanese comprehension software on your computer. These are updates from Microsoft, but you have to get them on your own. Sucky, I know. It will help you if you want to learn though.

Thanks for visiting my blog again! :D Have you checked out the rest of Samurai Champloo yet?

Eew...Japanese is tough. My sister, brother-in-law and niece lived in Tokyo for three years and in that time frame learned just enough to get along. He actually had an interpreter for his job where he was Presient of Sales for a large pharmaceutical company known as Johnson and Johnson.

I went to visit for two weeks, and although I knew very little Japanese, found my way just fine. They were very accomodating, and just one look of confusion we (my sister and I) would have like 5 Japanese men surrounding us helping with a map. Humorous.

My 9 year old niece was really the only one who knew the best Japanese sinse she was taught it in school. It's been a couple years since they've lived there and she still answers the phone, "Moshi, moshi!"

I totally agree! Japanese is not easy. In fact, I'm not entirely sure why I wanted to learn it. I think, after having a bad teacher for Spanish back in high school, I decided it was best to start another language. And since I was such a computer/video-game nerd back when I started college, I thought, "Hey! Japanese! I'll get all the "chicks" that way." Unbeknownst to me, however, was that the only "chicks" I would be getting would be those in video games. Yeah, seriously. Hahah!

Actually, I wanted to learn Japanese to visit there someday. Hopefully I will in the near future. I won't live there though. After learning about Japanese culture this year I came to the realization that it's just not my cup of tea. Although, I can handle green tea :P

I have heard such stories about young American women traveling in Japan being helped by Japanese men. I've also heard about them being pinched and grouped too! To be true, though, I have heard that women that travel to Italy experience the same thing. In fact, I've seen it happen while I've been there.

Have you had green tea ice cream?

Red bean ice cream? Hmmm. I don't think I've ever heard of that kind before. Is it Japanese? I wonder if I could get that at the downtown Japanese place.

Ya. Green tea ice cream is ok. To me it tastes like it needs something else with it to make it taste better. My Mom tried it once and she said she thought it tasted like grass. :P Emphasis on the ASS.

Ah, I see. I will have to try it if I get the chance to then.

Holy Schiat! V, Deathnote is such a morbid manga. Twisted. Yet, so addicting.

I've found it hard to stop reading...

Jeez! Another "nerdy" addiction!

Tell me about it! XD

Here it is 4:30 in the morning (German Time) and I've been reading it NON-STOP for the last hour when I said I would go to bed. I finished the first volume.

It's dark, but so good.

Seriously, though, I must retire for the night so that I can get up tomorrow moring, hopefully (HAHA!), and continue extensive speech writing of DOOM!

Thanks again for the linkege!
